2.Short description of the Initiative
When considering taking the step from working in the office to teleworking, one must take into consideration two aspects that will be key in successfully facing this change of atmosphere in the work place, which at the same time will implicitly carry with it a change of atmosphere in the home.

The fundamental expectations and objectives posed by her before deciding whether to telework, expressed in her own words, were the following:
• To be my own "boss" and therefore, to be able to make decisions about work that is assigned to me. In other words, to be able to grab hold of the reins of my own creations.
• To deal with the client directly in order to be able to better "connect" with what the client wants.
• To work en a pleasant environment, adapted to my needs.
• To be able to dedicate more time to my new husband and my family in general.
• At home I have the means to work on projects when the "creativity hits me."
• Flexible schedule.

3.Innovative aspects, benefits and barriers
The most innovative aspects relate to the extensive use of communications in all facets regarding work:
• Relationships with various providers of services (delivery of jobs to the printers via the internet)
• Relationships with clients, with supposedly more fluid communication.
• New ways of searching for clients and other resources via the internet

Benefits
• The adoption of telework as a means of working has brought about a series of advantages for the teleworker that fulfils the objectives proposed upon beginning this new form of working:
• Schedule flexibility
• Improved work environment
• Greater autonomy due to the absence of controls and intermediaries
• Improved productivity
• Time saved with no need to commute to work nor search for parking
• Time saved by performing communications electronically
• Elimination of problems due to the co-ordination of schedules with clients

Barriers
• That some clients do not set up the necessary infrastructure or are not predisposed to accepting this type of "virtual" relationship, rather they prefer personal contact
• Problems with the internet or with the internet service provider
